Exception Manager permissions
Depending on the type of exceptions your financial institution uses Jack Henry Exception Manager for (i.e. Rapid Transfers, SilverLake exceptions, etc.), some permissions may not apply to you.
Permissions
- Add Note (All)
- Allows a user to add a note to any exception.
- Charge Fee (All)
- Allows a user to charge a fee for all exceptions that allow fees to be charged. (Users must have either this permission or Charge Fee (SilverLake NSF), Waive Fee (All), or Waive Fee (SilverLake NSF) in order to see the Print Notice toggle.)
- Charge Fee (SilverLake NSF)
- Allows a user to charge the fee for SilverLake NSF exceptions. (Users must have either this permission or Charge Fee (All), Waive Fee (All), or Waive Fee (SilverLake NSF) in order to see the Print Notice toggle.)
- Create (All)
- Used by back-end services only.
- Decision (All)
- Allows a user to decision all exceptions.
- Decision (JH Platform ACH)
- Allows a user to decision a Jack Henry Platform ACH exception.
- Decision (Rapid Transfers)
- Allows a user to decision a Rapid Transfer exception.
- Decision (SilverLake NSF)
- Allows a user to decision a SilverLake NSF exception.
- Decision (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to decision a SilverLake NonPost exception.
- Delete Note (All)
- Allows a user to delete an existing note for any exception.
- Edit (All)
- Allows a user to update the Exception Details for all exceptions.
- Edit (JH Platform ACH)
- Allows a user to update the Exception Details for Jack Henry Platform ACH exceptions.
- Edit (Rapid Transfers)
- Allows a user to update the Exception Details for Rapid Transfer exceptions. This allows a user to update the Exception Status.
- Edit (SilverLake NSF)
- Allows a user to update the Exception Details for SilverLake NSF exceptions. This allows users to update the Exception Status and update the Transaction Type (ACH, Check, etc.) when the original value is unspecified.
- Edit (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to update the Exception Details for SilverLake NonPost exceptions. This allows the user to update the Exception Status and update the Transaction Type (ACH, Check, etc.) when the orignal value is unspecified. In order to edit specific fields, Grant must be set for each field’s corresponding permission.
- Edit Account Number (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to update the Account Number for SilverLake NonPost exceptions.
- Edit Account Type (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to update the Account Type for SilverLake NonPost exceptions.
- Edit Effective Date (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to update the Effective Date for SilverLake NonPost exceptions.
- Edit Note (All)
- Allows a user to edit an existing note for any exception.
- Edit Transaction Code (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to update the Transaction Code for SilverLake NonPost exceptions.
- Resolve (All)
- Allows a user to resolve all exceptions.
- Resolve (JH Platform ACH)
- Allows a user to resolve Jack Henry Platform ACH exceptions.
- Resolve (Rapid Transfers)
- Allows a user to resolve Rapid Transfer exceptions.
- Resolve (SilverLake NSF)
- Allows a user to resolve SilverLake NSF exceptions.
- Resolve (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to resolve SilverLake NonPost exceptions.
- Search (All)
- Shows all exception items when Jack Henry Exception Manager loads.
- View (All)
- Allows a user to view the details for all exceptions.
- View (JH Platform ACH)
- Allows a user to view the exception details for Jack Henry Platform ACH exceptions.
- View (Rapid Transfers)
- Allows a user to view the exception details for Rapid Transfer exceptions.
- View (SilverLake NSF)
- Allows a user to view the exception details for SilverLake NSF exceptions.
- View (SilverLake NonPost)
- Allows a user to view the exception details for SilverLake NonPost exceptions.
- View Notes (All)
- Allows a user to view any notes associated with an exception.
- Waive Fee (All)
- Allows a user to waive the fee for all exceptions that allow fees to be charged. (Users must have either this permission or Charge Fee (All), Charge Fee (SilverLake NSF), or Waive Fee (SilverLake NSF) in order to see the Print Notice toggle.)
- Waive Fee (SilverLake NSF)
- Allows a user to waive the fee only for SilverLake NSF exceptions. (Users must have either this permission or Charge Fee (All), Charge Fee (SilverLake NSF), or Waive Fee (All) in order to see the Print Notice toggle.)
